Pedestrian Accidents in Ohio
Being involved in a traffic-related incident of any type can have a damaging impact on a person’s health and wellbeing. Pedestrian accidents are particularly detrimental as they often result in severe damages for victims. When small children are involved in these accidents, there is a heightened risk of brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and broken bones. Small children are often left to endure extreme pain and suffering. The fact that innocent children are unable to come to grips with their emotions after being seriously harmed just makes it harder for families, in their entirety, to deal with these life-changing accidents.
Although there are numerous things we can do to protect ourselves from being harmed in accidents, the unfortunate truth is that driver errors account for over 80% of traffic accidents each year in the country. Pedestrian accidents are particularly brutal, claiming the lives of more than 5,000 people while leaving over 75,000 others seriously injured. If you’ve been injured in a pedestrian accident as a result of another person’s actions, it is crucial that you reach out to a pedestrian accident attorney in Cleveland as soon as possible.
