Biography
Michael A. Saltzer is a personal injury attorney at the law firm of Rumizen Weisman in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Saltzer has over 30 years of legal experience and handles personal injury cases involving motor vehicle accidents, insurance law, medical negligence, motorcycle accidents, nursing home negligence, premises liability and wrongful death. He represents clients in Cleveland and throughout Ohio.
During his career, Mr. Saltzer has tried many complex personal injury cases, resulting in successful outcomes for injured Ohio residents and their families. He is board certified as a civil trial advocate and civil pretrial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. His success has earned him membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization comprised of attorneys who have secured verdicts or settlements of $1 million or more for their clients.

Mr. Saltzer is active in his legal and local communities. In the past, he has taught continuing legal education courses on personal injury and litigation topics for the National Business Institute. He is an active member of the Ohio Association for Justice and has been a member of the Akron Bar Association Certified Grievance Committee and Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.
In 1985, Mr. Saltzer graduated cum laude from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 1988. He holds a license to practice law before all Ohio state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.
