Huron, OH (January 24, 2021) – An automobile accident reported on Thursday evening in Huron sent several people to area hospitals with injuries. At around 6:30 p.m., on January 21, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on US Highway 6.
Reports from authorities show that a vehicle occupied by four was traveling east on US Highway 6 when it crashed into a westbound vehicle on the same road just east of Rye Beach Road.
The drivers of both vehicles, identified as a 19-year-old Antony Swan and 30-year-old Ian Bowers, and three passengers in Swan’s vehicle, were all transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
