East Union Township, OH (December 11, 2020) – A head-on collision in Wayne County claimed the life of one man on Thursday afternoon. On December 10, the Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted emergency crews were called to the site of a vehicle collision on US Highway 250.
Reports from authorities show that 36-year-old Daniel P Cruise was driving a Nissan Rogue on US Highway 250 when his vehicle collided with a Ford Fusion head-on. The impact of the crash left both vehicles with severe damage.
The 26-year-old driver of the Ford was airlifted via Med Flight to Akron City hospital for treatment.
Cruise sustained fatal injuries in the crash. Authorities pronounced the man deceased due to his injuries at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
