Cleveland, OH (December 29, 2020) – A fire incident reported in the Cleveland area on Saturday morning sent one woman to a local hospital with injuries. During the morning hours of December 26, the Cleveland Fire Department was requested at the site of a fire incident on Mandalay Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a fire broke out at an apartment building located in the 15700 block of Mandalay Avenue. The fire caused moderate damage to the apartment. Fire crews battled the flames for some time before declaring the situation under control.
A 35-year-old woman in the apartment was injured. The injured woman was transported to University Hospital in stable condition. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
