Middlefield, OH (November 7, 2020) – A fire incident reported in Middlefield sent two firefighters to area hospitals with injuries on Saturday afternoon.
Just after 2 p.m., on November 7, firefighters responded to the scene of a fire incident in the 15540 block of Bundysburg Road. A home caught fire on the block for unknown reasons, causing severe damage to the structure.
While battling the blaze, two firefighters sustained injuries. Both victims were transported to area hospitals immediately following the incident.
At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office.
