Mansfield, OH (October 27, 2020) – An auto accident reported in the Mansfield area on Monday afternoon claimed one person’s life in the Mansfield area. At around 2 p.m., on October 26, the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the site of a crash on Ohio State Route 39.
Reports from authorities show that a crash involving two vehicles took place on Ohio State Route 39 near Ohio State Route 603 for unknown reasons. The head-on collision left a 17-year-old driver injured. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, identified as Aaron Carlson from the Loudonville area, sustained fatal injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
