Cleveland, OH (October 1, 2020) – An automobile accident involving at least two vehicles in Central Cleveland sent one person to an area hospital with injuries, according to reports. Just before 3:55 p.m., on September 29, the Cleveland Police Department, Cleveland Fire Department, and paramedics responded to the scene of an accident on East 55th Street.
Reports from local news sources show that a vehicle collision took place on East 55th Street at the intersection with Quincy Avenue during the late afternoon on Tuesday. The crash caused severe damage to the vehicles involved. The vehicles began smoking immediately following the collision.
Firefighters responding to the scene worked aggressively to extricate one woman who was trapped inside her vehicle. Once removed, the woman was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. No other injuries were reported in this accident.
