Cleveland, OH (August 6, 2020) – One man was left injured after a pedestrian accident late Wednesday evening. At around 11:15 p.m., on August 5, the Cleveland Police Department was notified of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 90.
According to reports, a man was driving down the exit ramp from Interstate 71 northbound onto Interstate 90 westbound when his vehicle broke down. The man pulled over off to the side of the road and exited his vehicle. As he was walking down the ramp he was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash and waited for law enforcement to arrive. The pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident. Medical personnel provided treatment to the injured man at the scene of the crash and transported him to a local hospital for further treatment. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
