Cleveland, OH (August 18, 2020) – A workplace accident reported on Tuesday in the Stockyards section of Cleveland left one man injured. Just after 11 a.m., on August 18, the Cleveland Fire Department and emergency medical services responded to the scene of a workplace accident at the Hillson Nut Company.
Reports show that a man was performing the duties of his job at 3225 West 71st Street in Cleveland when his arm became entrapped inside a piece of heavy machinery. Firefighters responded to the site of the incident and began quickly to release the man’s trapped arm. The man sustained injuries in the incident. Medical personnel rendered aid to the man at the site of the incident before transporting him to a local hospital for further treatment of injuries.
